How It Works:

During the fabrication process, the lacing anchor's pin is pressed through the insulation layer and the outer fabric jacket. On the reverse side, the self-locking washer is pushed firmly onto the pin, creating a vibration-resistant grip that locks the blanket in place. The hooked head of the anchor serves as a tie-off point for lacing wire, allowing adjacent blanket edges to be "laced" together. This creates a tight seal that can be easily cut and re-tied, enabling maintenance crews to remove and reuse the insulation cover without damage.
